2009年春、『Chili's（チリーズ）』、グアム初上陸♪
テキサス･スタイルのバーガーや、マルガリータなどのカクテルがご自慢です！
同じくテキサス･スタイルのステーキハウスとして有名な『Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon（ローンスター･ステーキハウス＆サルーン）』のオーナー、Brian Artero（ブライアン・アルテーロ）が満を持して始めた『Chili's』（チリーズ）。今回はGPO敷地内に一軒家風のお店を出しましたが、年内にMicronesia Mall（マイクロネシア･モール）内にも出店予定。来年には米軍基地の中にもオープンさせるようなので、かなりの力の入れようです（スタッフにもテキサスで研修を受けさせたとか！）。
グアムにはアメリカン･スタイルのレストランとして、T.G.I.FRIDAY'S（T.G.I.フライデーズ）、Planet Hollywood（プラネットハリウッド）、Hard Rock Cafe（ハードロック･カフェ）、Ruby Tuesday（ルビー・チューズデイ）など、すでにいくつかの人気店がありましたが、『Chili's（チリーズ）』出店で、日本未進出のレストランがひとつ増えましたね。
『Chili's（チリーズ）』の名物のひとつが、テキサス・スタイルのカクテル、マルガリータ。ひとくちにマルガリータといってもいろいろあって、ラム酒を何にするかが選べて、メニューにもたくさん載っています！今回は、オープン早々に お食事に行ったときの記事のトップ画像に載せたものとはちがうマルガリータを頼んでみたのがこちら！！なんていう名前のマルガリータか忘れてしまったのですが（ごめんなさい！！）、とにかくとっても大きいです。赤ちゃんの顔くらいの大きさはありそうな…。お酒が弱ければ、ふたりで楽しんでも十分なくらいですよ！
そして今回初挑戦してみたのが、こちらの3つのチキンのアペタイザーの盛り合わせ。それぞれチキンをいろいろな風味の衣をつけて揚げてあって、お好みでディップをつけていただきます。チキンがとってもやわらかくって、お酒のおつまみにもとってもうれしいプレートでした♪
『Chili's（チリーズ）』はグアムのレストランには比較的珍しく、とても窓がたくさんあるので、どちらかというと穴倉っぽい他のアメリカスタイルのお店に比べて、店内に自然光が射し、ランチ時はとても気持ちがいいですよ！バーもとっても雰囲気がいいので、ディナーや、夜の一杯にも来てみたいなぁと思います！！

私はまだ実際にいただいていないのですが、チリーズにはアメリカンなステーキもありますよ！でもステーキをがっつり、というなら、同じオーナーの『Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon（ローンスター･ステーキハウス＆サルーン）』の方がチョイスがたくさんありますよ！

今は、二日目のドライブというか（これも何度していて）
